Each one of us is in a rat race to earn more money in order to buy the objects of desire; the more we have the more we want it. There is never a time when we can say, I have everything in the world today and I don’t need more. Our needs trap us in a vicious circles. In this crazy materialistic world where is all this leading us to? Have you ever thought? Perhaps , an anxiety for a happy retirement life but what if you die untimely? It is good to have planning for investments but that planning should not lead us to stress and diseased state. As a result, although, we have the means to buy everything it’s of no use as most of it is spent to treat a medical condition which arises out of insecurity of protecting those assets . It is high time people learn to calm down their ambition and take a pause in this rat race. It is good to be focussed and ambitious but don’t let it over power you. You need to look into your own self and gather your assets with non attachment. How do you achieve that in this life ? It is indeed simple. You need to recognize beneath your active self there is another self which called your inner self or subconscious mind. Begin to listen to it and you will realize that it directs your thinking in the right direction leading you to non attachments. An easy and user friendly routine can be followed. At the end of the each day have a little cleansing process just as women don’t forget to use cleansers to remove make up. We need to cleanse and declutter our mind of our thought processes. Wash you face and eyes doing the eye bath (Netrasnan-See below) and then start a little meditation by doing Tratak (see below). Do the tratak till the eyes are filled with tears. Next ten minutes close your eyes and chant “Shree Swami Samarth”. Breathe in and say “Shree Swami Samarth” breathe out and say “Shree Swami Samarth” As you get into the rhythm of chanting you will be absorbed and might even do more than ten minutes. That’s fine. You are becoming spiritual. Swami Samarth is listening to your chanting and he will change the course of destiny for you. When you are done with chanting, sit down with eyes closed and offer prayers of peace and happiness to all those people who have cheated you, hurt you, and betrayed you and also for your loved ones, your family and friends. Then, listen to the silence of your surrounding and remember every breath you take, chant “Shree Swami Samarth” and breathe out “Shree Swami Samarth” chanting silently in your mind. You can sit there as long it pleases you. Remember each passing day of your practice you are getting more closer to your inner self and who is your inner self none other than “Shree Swami Samarth”. In hope of spreading the name of the Great Siddha “Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj of Akkalkot” NB
Use the running tap water, fill your mouth with as much as water as possible by expanding the mouth cavity. Hold water in the mouth and splash cold water while keeping the eye open. Splash the water alternatively in each eye after 7-8 splashes; one may feel have breathless and have urge to throw the water out. At this point, repeat the process and repeat the process. Carry out three cycles at least. Tratak means staring at a non-moving, stable scene or object of concentration. Sit down crossed legs, place an oil lamp (diya of cotton wick sesame oil or ghee)placed 4-6 feet away in the line of eyes. Stare at the flame. If eyes feel heavy close and open and do it again. Do this for 2-3 minutes. However I do Tratak on the idol of Shree Swami Samarth.

When I look back in my life.. I tell u the truth that I did not know or did not follow Swami Samartha till the age of 39 to 40. But I firmly now believe that he was always there with /behind me on all crucial life making turns .. and I owe all my happiness to him... He gave me all materialistic success and fulfillment beyond my expectations.. ..now when I was on that moment (wanting more and more)..he has taken me to his shelter due to a set back moment in life. It is almost 8 months now..regularly he makes me to visit Swami Samartha Kendra and gets the SEVA done... its amazing....gradually I am realizing that inner peace is so rewarding and refreshing :-) OM Shri Swami Samartha!!
Off late I am so fed up of my life. I don't know what to do or where to go. I need a new reassurance and a miracle. I am losing hope and faith. Swami I need you now more than ever.
